Top review. Blue Crush is a junk production. I know several people that was involved in this production, and lots of them are disappointed and were not aware it's going to be such a bad movie. The target market are teens, but teens are way more discerning. It's really an insult to South African surfing, contains bad acting and there are lots of big continuity errors.

For instance, the culminating competition in the story held at Jeffreys Bay was shot at a KZN South Coast spot Look at the jet ski's registration number You've got actors that can't surf and surfers that can't act. Bruce Gold was portrayed as a pilot, why did they not let him play himself? Why cast Twiggy and Jordy in non surfing roles? Then you have the girls take off on a wave, and suddenly when they zoom out, it's clearly visible they are on completely another wave, at another location.

This is not the error of the cast and crew, I believe this is the error of the people that produced and directed this movie. What were they thinking? I guess their only goal was to sell a couple of DVD's to unsuspecting buyers and make something from rental outlets.
